I always had a thing for houndstooth. Very vintage :) As my dad said, it's "Fashion Recycle." Very true. We're bringing back the old stuff and making it new. Like this Houndstooth Dress for instance, throw on an exposed zipper and some PeterPan collers, and voilah! I like to lighten things up to make it look more cheerful and not too dull, so I added a pair of deep red wayferer and bright red flats to it :) Yum.

Old Hollywood Glamour

I was searching high and low for this particular dress, even before the whole lace frenzy thing started.

Gosh, that's along time. And now ....

Old Hollywood Glamor I might say. A nice plain clutch would go well with this lacy number.  My gold satin pleated clutch is currently under the lite-up tree downstairs along with some lovely Estee Lauder cosmetics :D I'mma happy girl. Initially this dress came with a white sash, but I thought a black one would look so much better. So I dug through my marching gear and found this black one, used for yellow house and decided to use it, I'm surprised it's long enough for my no-longer tiny waist :X

It shall be my Christmas dress :)

Dying to own a cropped top from [insert-branded-shops-name] but just don't have the money? Now you can DIY your own one!

1) Firstly, you need a oversized top (in any colour you desire), a pair of scissors, sewing kit and a pen to do some markings.

2) Mark your oversized top with the pen to decide the length you desire.

3)  Then chop chop!

4)  Trim the ends of your top if necessary.

5) And sew the arms part if necessary too.

And it should look like this:

 

 Now, you have your very own cropped top! ;D

Why should you own a cropped top?

Because you can match it with anything!

 

 Cropped top: DIY.

Tank top: Love It. RM10 (?)

Bodycon panel skirt: Vivace Cabin. RM48

Pair it with a tank top like above.

 

Dress: Vavavoom. RM49.

Or you can pair it with a dress! Also can be worn as a half top.

Anyways, when I meant anything, I don't mean EVERYthing. Choose your outfit wisely. Safest way is a tank top & jeans. ;D The classic style that will never go wrong.

EXTRAS:
Warning - DO be careful when you're cutting the top, because once the scissors go down, there's no undo. And don't play play with scissors yaw!
Tips - Get the oversized top in cotton, instead of wool like mine. It's easier to cut and trim. ;)
P/S; A normal white top can also do the trick. ;)

It's the fake bob cut that got people fooling. :P Anyways, if you've known me, you should know that I've got a thing for sailors. :P And this striped dress is definitely the bomb. Elastic waistband for better fit, exposed zipper, and the flare-like skirt at the bottom. ;D Accessorize only with earrings, I prefer minimum accessories. :P Oh, isn't the whale earrings just cute? Definitely in the whole sailor spirit. ;D And yea, I'm aware of the pimples on my cheeks. :(

I think that this playsuit has the Katy Perry-ish feel. ;D Haha! So playsuits are pretty much a hassle when nature calls, but it's cute and you can't deny it. ;D Haha. Go get one for yourself already!

FS MUST HAVES, Product review - COVER UPS.

Cover ups are definitely a must haves for all girls out there. Even though it is not applicable to our eveyday lifes due to the hot weather of Malaysia. But it will definitely come in handy if you're going somewhere cold (read: CINEMA) Plus, as the crime rate in Malaysia is slowly rising, you must have something to cover up and keep your chances of getting rape or kidnap or whatsoever lower. :P

OR, if you have flabby arms, use them to cover up. After all, it's called the "COVER UPS". :P

The sequins are back! In another words, the 80s are back. ;) I'm not much a big fan of the 80s, like come on, I haven't even exist by then. :P But I definitely adore the shiny shiny stuffs. Haha. Must be something wrong with me. :P Anyways, the sequins can create two different looks, glam or trashy. When you're wearing sequins, you run the risk of looking like a hooker or a trendy chic. So how to wear them sequins without looking trashy?

One simple rule, when it's sexy on top, keep the bottom conservative or vice versa. ;) Haha. I like mine black & white, fyi. :)

Currently hunting for a sequin hot pants! So i can wear them with not-so-sheer leggings. ;D However, it is pretty hard to find one in Malaysia with a reasonable price. Hmmm... :\

My biker jacket finally arrived after the long wait! I simply adore the fact that it's has a removable hoodie! Not to mention it's leopard printed on the inside, fierce! Anyways, this outfit was put together thru boredom. I purchased this checkerboard top quite sometime ago, but couldn't think of a way to wear it because it sooo big. Oversize top perhaps? So I decided to pair it up with a Topshop inspired panel skirt. This skirt is a MUST HAVE it every girls wardrobe. My electric blue ones is on it's way! :D Can't wait.

Oh and if you think, "OH I have this checkerboard bag to match with this top!" Please, 1 would do. Either do the bag, or the top. 2 eye blinding items on you would just make people throw them tomatoes at you.

I've been searching for the "perfect" corset top high and low, but never seem to find any nice ones. Most corsets are just too sexy for my age, sadly. :( However, I've found my perfect one! :D Without the slightest bit of sleazy to it. Have this bodycon like style at the bottom of the top, and studs in the shape of stars! Although you can't see it in the picture, but how cute is that? ;D
